Welcome to the Infant Room!
Miss E
Hello, my name is Evone. Everyone knows me as Miss E.
I have been with Miss Alecia since she opened the facility in 2004. I have worked for Raising Daisies in all age groups. I don’t have a favorite age group because I like them all.
I have fifteen years in child care. Many years ago I assisted in a home day care in Fort Collins with an average of 30 children. It was the beginning of a new found love.
I have taken the Infant Toddler ECE college course at AIMS in 2008 and 2010 I ECE 101 Introduction to Early Childhood Professions which were the new requirements for 2011. Which qualifies me as the Infant Nursery Supervisor. I am current in CPR/ First Aide, Universal Precautions, and Medication Adminstration qualified. Furthermore, I have taken many trainings and seminars in all the following areas: Curriculum planning, nutrition, guidance and discipline, classroom management, just to mention a few.
Raising Daisies has been my favorite place to work. The children are safe and I truly believe the children are happy. I enjoy having the special opportunity to meet all of the children, and to get to know their individual personalities and needs.
When I am not in the classroom you see me either coming or going or fixing a computer or screwing a shelf together. I’m kept very busy and if I don’t stop to say hello it is because I have my nose to the ground.
What I like most about working here? Everything. And when I leave for the day I get a hug and a good bye from the children
It is such a rewarding feeling knowing I had a part in something so big or something so little from potty training to teaching your child how to blow their nose, or to learn how to hold a pencil to write their name.
What ever part it is , it makes me feel happy.
I look forward to meeting you and your child(ren).
Thank you!
